The annual MADC Fall Picnic will be held on Sunday, October 14th, 2012, at Elver Park.  We'll be making plans at the next few monthly club meetings, so if you are interested in providing input, come to a meeting, post here or on Facebook, send us an email, etc.

The Packers game is scheduled for 7:20 PM that night (at Houston), and the Badgers play an 11 AM game the day before, so no excuses for not showing up in the morning!  We will likely try to have some bagels, coffee, etc available in the morning, and then lunch between the morning singles round and the afternoon games, doubles, or whatever we come up with.

As usual, elections for 5 of the 7 members of the MADC board will also be held at this time.  This year, in addition to the 3 at-large spots that are up every year, the positions of President and Treasurer will be on the ballot.  VP Gentry Bieker will be halfway through his term.  The position of Secretary is still vacant, and the board has the right to appoint someone to that position at any time.

1:00   pm   Lunch, Games, Awards & Raffle
2:30   pm   Doubles Registration
3:00   pm   Doubles Round Begins

The raffle tickets will be $3 for one or $5 for two.  Adopt-A-Hole volunteers automatically get two free raffle tickets.  The grand prize is once again a brand-new DISCatcher Sport.  Other prizes include a DISCatcher Mini, gift cards to places like Glide and Ale Asylum, and more.  Additional donations of raffle prizes are certainly welcome!

We will also have used discs for sale.  $3 for basic plastic (DX, Pro D, etc) and $5 for premium (Champion, Star, Z, ESP, etc).

Reminder that the Fall Picnic is at Elver this Sunday, starting at 9 AM.  Let's hope the rain is gone by then.  See you there!

We're still on for tomorrow.  We may modify the schedule of events and what kind of golf is played, but we will certainly still have lunch, games, the raffle, used discs sales, and elections.
